We are a small shop located in Rush, NY next to Diamonds Limo and Colby's Bakery and Ice Cream. I run FortyWinks with my father Peter from Oneonta, NY. Our two stores work together to bring our customers what they want and what they deserve at a significantly lower price than almost anyone out there in the same business! We only have a few people who work at FortyWinks, so there is no confusion with dozens of employees about availability, pricing, and getting your quesitons answered. There is absolutely no pressure, as we know is usually the case in most furniture stores. The problem lies within a commission-based program, and we don't work like that at FortyWinks! We are there to help if you need it, but we won't follow you around and pressure you into a sale you might regret later! Our store is small and mostly mattresses, but we do try and rotate the in-store furniture we carry and offer thousands of items through catalog-direct ordering - everything you can order is listed online, including pricing for your convenience!We are good, honest people trying to give folks a great product at an even greater price!! If we don't have it in the store, we can do our best to get it for you! Making customers happy is our #1 priority, and you can feel comfortable in our small, hometown atmosphere!

Late fees are $15 per week when payment is overdue. At FortyWinks, we understand that unforeseen obligations arise, therefore call us if you need to postpone a payment. We will postpone a payment date for up to two (2) weeks until late fees are added ($15/week).3. A debit/credit card is necessary to take payment/layaway merchandise off the premises, unless postdated checks for the entire payment schedule are left for us to cash. (No starter checks!) We will NOT cash these checks until the date written on the checks, and NSF fees as well as late fees will be added if the check bounces. We are not responsible for date/amount errors written on postdated checks. If the customer wants to make cash payments, the item(s) must stay on premises until the item(s) are paid in full.4. If a payment is more that three (3) months late, we reserve the right to either sell the item(s) in the store, or repossess them from your residence. WE DO PROSECUTE, and the customer will be summoned to pay their balance as well as legal fees FortyWinks incurs in doing so (usually $400-$600, plus 10% of the amount owed).5. All funds paid to FortyWinks becomes the property of FortyWinks, at our discretion, when a balance is unpaid after three (3) months including, but not limited to, deposits and payments if item(s) cannot be paid for or gets repossessed.6. We reserve the right to call/inquire to friends, family, or customer's work while trying to get ahold of a customer for payment questions or inquiries.

We are a small showroom of mostly mattresses, but we do carry some furniture. Our low-inventory approach means YOU save on furniture and mattresses!Our inventory is limited, but we order every week from Symbol Mattress Company, as well as order regularly from our three furniture suppliers!Here is what you need to know about our Catalog-Direct Program:ALL items we sell are eligible for our FREE Payment Plan Program! Mattress Sets require a 30% deposit, and new furniture orders require a 50% deposit.If you order furniture and you decide you do not want it, your deposit will be refunded, but there is a 15% restocking fee on the price of the item. This ensures you do not have to "stuck" with something you do not like, but ensures we can compensate for incurred fees due to the cancellation of an order.If an item is ordered and delivery/pickup is not settled within 60 days, we reserve the right to sell the item, as our inventory needs to rotate. We then can reorder the item when you are ready. If you do not contact us within three months after we have asked you to pick up/pay/have your items delivered, you agree to forfeit your deposit to FortyWinks.All prices are subject to change, as suppliers will change prices occasionally to cover increased costs of materials, transportation, etc. While we normally check to make sure prices are 100% correct on our website, prices may differ without prior notice.
